One time game show contestant, oft-time urban roamer. I have nothing much to say, I'm the quiet one...which is probably why I take photos too much.

What I did over the weekend: learning how to bike What I did over the weekend: learning how to bike courtesy of the National Bicycle Organization. Still not quite there but I've learned to grasp the basics. Now excuse as my butt still feels sore 😂

I bought from.Shopee an item imported from Japan: I bought from.Shopee an item imported from Japan: an Olympus M.Zuiko wide angle lens which I thought would fit my Olympus camera. However I found that it is actually a four-thirds lens, which is too big for my micro four-thirds camera. So I ended up buying an adapter so I can use the lens. Looks and works great now 📷

    Reminiscing the cinematic glitter: the old movie theaters of downtown Manila (Part V: the theaters north of Recto)

    As was noted in the previous installment of this series, Rizal Avenue or Avenida was once Manila’s movie theater lane that ran from Blumentritt to what is now Plaza Lacson (Plaza Goiti in the olden days) In contrast however to the movie theaters found at the south of the intersection of Rizal and Recto Avenues, the movie theaters north of that intersection are not as well-known. Nevertheless, they contributed to what was once a lively entertainment scene in that part of the city once before.
