Being the “Summer Capital of the Philippines,” Baguio City has a fine choice of accommodations to choose as to where to stay in this literally cool city. Allow me to share one place for your consideration: the Le Monet Hotel.
Located right inside Camp John Hay, Le Monet Hotel is named after the famed French impressionist painter Claude Monet. And like Monet’s art, Le Monet Hotel aims to treat its guests with beautiful sights, in this case, the green, cool landscape of Camp John Hay and Baguio City in general. And being within Camp John Hay, guests can readily check out the outdoor activities and the nearby sights such as the butterfly sanctuary, eco-trail, horse-back riding trails and picnic areas.
Upon checking in, guests can’t help but notice the cascading chandeliers in the hotel lobby. Le Monet Hotel prides itself with having the best breakfast buffet in town at The Lobby. the exclusive Vida Verde Spa and Gym, and alluring nights that can be enjoyed at the bar. Rooms offer a range of amenities, including a breathtaking view of green in the private balcony. And of course, guests are treated to a gracious hosting that Le Monet offers.
Le Monet Hotel is located at Ordonio Drive, Camp John Hay, Baguio City, Philippines. Do check out their website at
www.lemonethotel.ph. You can also check out the hotel’s social media accounts on
Facebook,
Twitter, and
Instagram.

I have stayed in this group’s Vigan hotel, not bad as a piece of historical reconstruction. They also have a hotel in Candon, Ilocos Sur. What gives in Candon that people would want to visit?
