It was that time of the year once again at the Jaime C. Velasquez Park in Salcedo Village, Makati City. From 10 AM to 10 PM last April 3, the park came alive with yet another edition of the annual event, Art in the Park.
In the midst of the summer heat, it was a surprise to see sizable number of visitors checking out the latest art works on display and/or on sale from various artists, art galleries, art institutions, schools, and other arts-related entities who have set up a presence in this year’s event.
Being an art fair, one can buy artworks at bargain prices amounting only up to P50,000 at most.
There were also some live performances from musicians and even artists who took part in this one day event.
But enough of the words and let the rest of the photos do the talking here.
Art in the Park is organized by the Museum Foundation of the Philippines which also organizes various tours around the country that pertain to art and culture. Do check out their Facebook page here.

As an expat I had a great time seeing the amazing talent in the philippines and just getting to know some of the local artists. It was a great event.
