Of the things you can do at a building rooftop…come to think of it, there’s not much you can do at a building rooftop unless you put something there. Which is probably the thinking the folks of Mercato Centrale and Ayala Center had when they decided to put a weekly food market at the rooftop of a carpark building there.
With that, the rooftop of The Link carpark building has become the new home of Cucina Andare, the food night market of Makati conceptualized by the same folks behind Mercato Centrale et al.
Cucina Andare has actually been around the Makati food market scene for quite a while, debuting back in December 2012 at Glorietta Park right across Glorietta 2. In time it earned quite a following, especially among the foodies and food-loving denizens of the metropolis who long for a food night market in this part of the city.
Now at its new home since early this year, rooftops and night food trips would never be the same again as one can get to enjoy some good food while getting a good view of the Makati night skyline.
Cucina Andare at The Link is open every Friday nights.
